Bristol clearing

for students that got into University of Bristol through clearing, what courses were available and from what faculties? I'm trying to get into life sciences and a rep told me it doesn't fill up but I wanted to know if any students have seen it when clearing because I've only seen people say chemistry and geology were available on clearing last year. Any info?
Ultimately what is available in clearing varies year on year, as it's wholly dependent on what doesn't get filled which will be dependent on the cohort applying (how many applied, how many meet their offers, etc). Just because something was in clearing last year doesn't mean it will be in clearing this year, and vice versa!

Usually - hard-to-fill stuff like - Languages and 'anything with a language', Ancient History, Geology, Music, Palaeontology and Evolution, Theology etc.

What are you looking for?

Degrees on the life sciences faculty, like medical microbiology or cellular and molecular medicine

These courses tend to be filled by Medics as their Insurances place when they miss their Medicine Firm choice, but every year is different and you may be lucky - it is always worth a phone call on Results Day.

It might be worth looking at the school of chemistry as well as life sciences. I am not a student at Bristol university but on my open experience day neuroscience, pharmacology and physiology were all held at the school of chemistry. Biochemistry may be in the school of chemistry too but I'm not sure

Yeah but I believe the school of chemistry is less flexible with grades in the sense that it's harder for them to accept any lower grades ☹️ thank you though ill have it in mind

Do I have a better chance transferring as an unconditional offer holder compared to people who don’t have the grades and are attempting clearing? I am looking to switch courses to maths and computer science
