Hey did anyone else apply for the Discover Bath programme earlier this year? I just got my offer for the sociology stream and was just wondering if anyone else has

i think there's a possibility of getting a contextual offer!! but at the very least it's something unique for UCAS personal statements

But I didn’t understand what they meant by “may be eligible”.

Yes you will, subject to certain conditions.
Firstly you need to successfully complete Discover Bath and have evidence for this (don't stress at all, it'll be explained towards the end of the programme and is nothing to worry about).
You'll then need to have a decent application for Bath. It doesn't have to beat the best and be the best application, but it needs to be decent (PS, Predicted grades etc).
You then need to let Bath know you've applied when you've applied, so that your application can be flagged and processed.

I hope you're feeling a little more relaxed after you got your results yesterday. I really hope you all got the grades you needed and wanted to get to where you want to go next, but please remember that if you didn't then its by no means the end of the world. Keep your head up, give yourself credit for what you've done, explore the options out there for you, and just remember that even if things take a different turn to how you expected, doors will open up to you in your next steps you won't even have expected, and things will work out for the good.
It would be great to hear what some of your plans were for the future! No pressure whatsoever, totally up to you whether you share or not - but we'd love to hear your stories

Hey! Just to note, I did the Discover Bath programme, but I didn’t end up applying to Bath in the end. Hopefully this may still help! My GCSEs were 999988888 and my predicted grades were A* A* A. I remember that completing the Discover Bath programme meant you could get a reduced offer when applying to Bath, so that’s definitely something in your favour! I just checked the entry requirements online for the business course at Bath and it says they usually want at least a 6 in Maths and English (Language or Literature), and they typically expect a majority of GCSEs at grade 7 or A. But they also mention a contextual admissions process where they might be more flexible, especially if you've done something like Discover Bath.

I got accepted for Discover Bath - Physics. Idk anyone who got accepted into that program 😭😭. and also when will I receive any other information from Uni related to discover bath program. It has been few weeks since I accepted the offer and haven't got any other email after that
