Nuffield Research Placement Year 12

Has anyone done or applied a Nuffield Research placement as needs help with application.

I’m not sure my Personal statement is long enough (271) words and invoices enough information about my life. I haven’t done many activities involving my subject area so do I just write about how I enjoy it?

Also is there an interview after the application as I have social anxiety and worried I wouldn’t do very well in a interview for a place.

(I’m wanting a placement is something possibly maths/ finance/statistics or other areas just to try eg law)

I recommend 500 words (there's no limit but 500 is good) but write something anecdotal, something that shows a bit of interest in the subject area.
There's no interview but the shortlisted people will be contacted by the regional coordinator so you can meet them and ask questions but no interview so you don't need to worry.
