Presentation Tomorrow

I have my Business Level 3, 1.3 coursework presentation tomorrow which i have been preparing over my last few weeks. My presentation is on Apple and i have plenty of information and a script. Im doing one to one with my teacher as part of my autism arrangements, and im hoping my autism doesn't get in the way and i physically can't speak.

How do i make sure my presentation is successful and i don't panic?

Hey @Unicorn7190 😀 I can see this is from yesterday - it sounds like you were really well prepared!! What was the topic of the presentation - is it Apple as a company? How did it go? 🙏

My top tips for the future would be:

1.

Breathe! Your teacher knows you well and will understand if you need to take a few moments to gather yourself in between slides/points. It's not a bad thing at all if you need to take a moment and gather your thoughts. In fact - overcoming nerves effectively may work in your favour as it shows you're able to overcome stress and get back on track.

2.

Remember you know the content. You're in control and your teacher doesn't know what you're 'supposed' to be saying at any point. If you miss something out then it's ok. Take a minute, gather your thoughts and either fit it in somewhere else or move on to the next point 🙂

3.

Practice a few times before, either on your own or with friends or family in a small group. If you're a bit nervous - practice with your back to your audience! Use the practice to focus on your pace and the info you'd like to talk about!

The first time doing these sorts of things can be really overwhelming but I hope it went ok.The next time you have a similar project to work on you'll have the experience under your belt to help!

Presentation complete. Yeah it was Apple as a company, about how they use innovation and enterprise throughout their products. My teacher was very understanding and didn't mind my stuttering. At the end he said it was fantastic. Im very proud because i didn't mess anything up

Morning 😀 Awwww amazing @Unicorn7190! Massive well done, that sounds like great feedback!! 👏 It must feel like a relief and an accomplishment to have it out the way! And the next time you have anything similar you'll feel 10x better beforehand. Well done again!!! 😄
