A-Level NEA Product Design. Ideas?

In a month or so I’ll be starting my DT NEA and I need to have some concept ideas on what I want to make and I can literally make anything. I want to do aerospace at uni so I was thinking if I should base my idea on aerospace which might help for uni or if I should make something else. Either way what might be a good idea?

Hiya! I took product design and got 97% in my NEA, and about 90% of that was down to my actual NEA presentation and literally everything other than the actual product. I am not good at making things, so I literally made a box thing that moved a bit for toddlers in cars. What I'm trying to say is that it honestly does not matter what you make, it matters the effort you put into the rest of you portfolio for it. Don't let you design inhibit your deadlines or quality of the rest of it later down the line. I wish I did something for pets when I was doing it because it seemed way easier to write and investigate about (my friend did pets). Just do it about something you care a bit about and could read up about, I love learning about how children think and their psychology so I did something for that age group also because I had experience around them. Definitely make sure you have someone or a company who can help you with design, I had a young mum help me with testing my product etc. It'll just make it easier.

Hi there,
I am in a similar situation looking to start NEA within the next month.
I was also planning to create a product related to automotives/motorsports as thats what i would like to study at Uni.
However I do agree with @siennar on creating a product related to pets as the cliental market for that is huge.
