i am currently in year 12 doing IAL but i will not finish my a-levels to year 13 bc i will be starting a foundation year in the uk instead. im just curious of what will happen, will unis take my a-levels into consideration or will they use my igcse grades instead? i also did rlly rlly bad on my jan 2024 exams and i am currently retaking them but i dont think i will even surpass my jan 2024 grades 😭 i dont know what to do and im just looking for some guidance.
You’re choosing a very expensive and limited option to abandon your A levels. I would never recommend this option, finishing your A levels will give you far far more options and opportunities and will cost a lot less.

Which foundation courses are you applying to?

Hi @fathiyahmahadi ,

University will take into consideration your AS grades that you may of completed in Year 12. Any Level 3 qualification (A-level, BTEC) is what we look at primarily, typically when looking at GCSE, we are just ensuring that you have 5 GCSE at 4-9, including English and Maths.

Best wishes
