Computer Science A level Ocr need help

Hello i am currently doing an exam question and I dont understand the mark scheme the Question is:
Simplify the expression
(E⋀F) (E⋀G)
I thought you could remove the brackets of the first one by association then flip E⋀F by commutation then do absorption so its just F⋀E but this is wrong and the answer is (F∨G) E .
Why? I dont understand
Please help

I hate boolean algebra, but I think of this one like expanding brackets in maths.
If you expand E(F+G) you get E + F + E + G right? Its exactly the same, but with an OR separating them as thats the rule.
