Hi I’m doing access to science at college. What is your unit 3 title.? Different education centres number the units differently. I might be able to help

Hi, sorry for late reply. I have completed unit 3, not on unit 6. It is to write an academic report.

This is the assignment brief given, same again Tutor’s are no help. Thanks

SECTION ONE
Demonstrate your understanding of cell division by giving a description of both mitosis and meiosis. You must also discuss their significance.

Include diagrams in an appendix to support your commentary where appropriate.

SECTION TWO
Demonstrate your understanding of heredity and genetic variation through description of the following areas:
• The impact of one geneticist on our understanding of genetics.
• Monohybrid and dihybrid crosses including sex links.
• The main sources of variation, including cross over, and gene and chromosome mutations.

Include diagrams in an appendix to support your commentary where appropriate.
