Having guests stay over in your room

What are the rules on guests staying over in your room? Do they have to show ID or just sign their name? This is specifically for the IQ kapa accommodation in Preston/UCLAN

At the IQ Kapa accommodation in Preston/UCLAN, guests staying over typically need to adhere to certain rules and regulations set by the management. These rules may vary depending on the specific policies of the accommodation. Generally, guests may be required to sign in at the front desk or reception upon arrival, providing their name and possibly some form of identification for security purposes.

It's best to consult the accommodation's official policies or inquire directly with the management to get accurate information on their guest stay procedures. They can provide specific details on whether guests need to show ID or simply sign their name when staying in your room.

Hi @James Ede,

IQ Kopa is a private halls located near our Preston campus, I have enquired with their customer service team about this for you. Overnight guests are allowed, you will need to attend the residences office and obtain a guest pass by getting signatures from your flatmates so they agree to the overnight guest.

If security find a non-resident who wasn't in possession of a guest pass there's a chance they'd be asked to leave the premises.

I hope this helps,
Sarah
