Dropping out of Alevel resit

Hello
I’ve decided it’s best not to complete my resit for my Alevel due to mental health issues. I’ve applied to uni and have offers on ucas and have firmed and insured. My firm is conditional and my insurance is unconditional. How do I cancel my firm choice in order to firm my insurance choice.

Call UCAS - details of how to do so are at https://www.ucas.com/contact-us.

If it's been up to 14 days since you made your firm and insurance decisions, UCAS can make the change directly.

If it's been longer than that, then you'll need to get consent from the unis concerned. Some unis will have told UCAS that they'll always consent to such changes, avoiding the need to explicitly contact them on a case-by-case basis. UCAS will be able to advise if this is the case with your unis.
