Edexcel A-Level history essay help

Hi, I'm currently a year 12 student, and I'm studying A-Level history.

Idk the exact names of the topics I'm doing, but one is revolution in Britain 1625-1701, and the other is the French revolution.

Every essay I have done since the start of the year has been at the top of band 4 (15/16 out of 20) bar 2 which I got 13 and 17 on. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to push up my grade to a band 5, 17 or 18?

hiya, my teacher always told me to evaluate every point. but I struggled with that but what I found helpful especially during my lead up to exams. read the examiners report and see what ur essays are missing, u need to how a sustained argument and judgement, and given each factor even 'attention' but I would say read the essays and feedback the examiner reports say. then write and essay or plan essays then look and see what theirs have and what u don't. I hope this helped 🙂 don't worry you're doing amazing! ur marks are very impressive, I reckon the 13/20 was due to the specific question not ur written style since ur average is pretty impressive!
