Warwick or Bath for MEng Computer science?

I am not sure whether to choose Warwick Computer Science or Bath Computer Science (both A*A*A) for my insurance.

I might change to the Discrete Maths course if I go to Warwick, and I feel like the maths/computing department might have a better reputation. But, not sure how great the Coventry area is..

I like Bath location-wise. And I have heard the Bath placement year is pretty good.

At the moment I am keen on data science and want to pick a degree that provides good employability opportunities in this kind of area. Any advice/ thoughts would be much appreciated.

I can't say much for the degrees themselves or Warwick, but I've heard that the nightlife there isn't great (not that Bath's is amazing, but it's really pretty and Bristol is nearby).

I think Bath is an amazing place to live, I've been here 4 years and still loving it. And you're right, they're well known for their placements which again helps with employability after graduation - a lot of placement providers will take back students after they graduate, and quite a few of the placement ads I saw from Bath were from companies which actually preferred Bath over non-Bath students.

Obviously I don't know anything about computer science at Bath or Warwick, but I do know that Bath is a great place to study and live, and has good employability after graduation as far as I know

Just an aside that Bath's Integrated Masters will give you a MComp and not an MEng.

Yes, forgot to check that. Are you aware whether there is any difference between the two (apart from the name)?
