Higher business grade boundaries

I found the business management paper this year really difficult, and my teachers thought the paper was unfair. I have been working at an A all year and got 92% in the prelim, but unfortunately I don't think I managed to get 70% in the exam. I was wondering if people thought grade boundaries might be lowered as it was a difficult paper?

I felt the same way, I’ve been an A grade student right through N5 and Higher in Business Management, I got an A2 (77%) in my prelim with very little revision and was feeling pretty confident for the exam having done lots of revision however I feel like I am right on the boundary between an A and a B. The Boohoo case study was awful and I feel like I lost a lot of marks on it. The section 2 questions weren’t too bad but still some difficult ones and I know I got penetration pricing and price skimming the wrong way round so I’ll be gutted if I miss out on an A by 4 marks or less. Most people I spoke to after the exam felt the same way about the case study as me. I’m hopefully that the grade boundaries will be lowered and I think they will be but there is no guarantees until we find out what they were on results day. I’m now hoping i did really well in my assignment to reduce the amount of marks I needed in the exam.

Bit late but just wondering what you ended up getting for higher business, I ended up getting an A thankfully, I was panicking on results day until "BusM H A" came up on the results text as business was one of the two subjects I wanted to do really well in alongside accounting.

Thanks for checking up and congrats! I ended up getting an A also, and business was the first one to come up in the text, I was so relieved. I got 88% which was so shocking, I thought I had just scrapped an A before I got my marks back.

Yea, I thought I just scraped an A as well when in fact I scraped an A band 1 as they had lowered the boundary to 98/120 and I got 98/120 (82%). Congrats to you.

It was the 2nd one in the text for me as I had higher accounts before business.
