Is it just me that found it abit hard 😭 like for the question when it gave us the phloem and cell x I just started waffling about how cell membrane controls which sugars go in and out, mitochondria for active transport like idk…… also I flopped the 6 marker I thought it was asking about amylase practical instead of food tests I’m cooked

this paper was very unexpected, although i did very good, i revised only 4 days alone and i did good, and obviously, did 2 hours tuition in a week this year but ther than that i did good in terms of when i started my revision, the thing was that this paper the 2024 one, the question were very tripple based question, and some question that came were very unexpected and weird bc of the fact that in past papers the topic came as overall, but this time details about a certain topic that u would miss or maybe not even go trough bc u may think " oh this might no come up since is just extra stuff" but yh in terms of that this year paper was arguably difficult all i raccomend to u guy i know is pretty late but since right now we still have the chemistry paper 1,2 physic 1,2 and bio 2, i advice to get these revision guide as it containes summarise stuff the key stuff that u need to know instead of the whole big topic (obviously if ur doing tripple higher)

On top of that, the other main key is to do lots of past exam question again, i did a mistake and did not revise for the whole year other than my tution, and i only revised for biology 6 days before my exam, if that applies to u pls buy those revision guide these are must at improving ur grade with this comined and past exam question u will be fine. Although i dont know my biology grade and i did my exam today in overall i was very happy with the answers and how i copleted my exam

best of luck

I do aqa triple higher, imo it was super easy ,but thats just cuz i happened to revise what came up ,id say the 6 markers were fairly straight forward, wonder if they decrease or increase grade boundaries,it does look harder compared to other b1 papers ,id say i just about 70ish,hopefully that should be 9

HI. I did GCSE Bio paper 1 triple AQA and for the magnification question I got 8014. This was because I used pi instead of 3.14. How many marks will this lose me?
omg, for the magnification question, i was so confused. i kept getting big numbers on my calculator screen and i got like 8.01..... something on my calculator screen and my stupid self didnt write it down because i thought i was wrong. but after reading that others got a similar answer im so annoyed. ive lost marks now and that really annoys me. devastated. absolutely devastated. 😣

i did the 2023 bio paper 1 as practice in exam conditions and i got 85 but the grade boundary for a 9 was only 67... this paper was definitely harder so i'd say it'd be the same or lower this year
