Marketing Exam Disaster

So after I finished my finance exam for Unit 3, I moved on to unit 2 for my BTEC business diploma grade, where I was working on units 8 and 2. I had done 50+ hours of revision and work, and was well prepared for the exam. So this morning, for three hours (and 45 minutes of extra time) had written my rationale today, 7 pages about Funky Flasks (case study business), saved it as a pdf (was working in MS Word) and named it according to the exam instructions, however, when I was finishing the activity 2 marketing campaign, the computer crashed, locked me out, and then I was only left with about a third of the work along with the headings that I had put in at the beginning. After a long and windy process of sweat, tears, and talking to so many people at the college, I have had to start plans to get Special Consideration from the exam board. I am told that they will look at what work I have produced and my prep work, and decide what mark/grade I should have been given, however, I also hear lots of people get turned down. I am really stressed and worried coz this unit is needed at least a pass mark and if I do not get the pass mark, I will be kicked off the course, meaning I have to leave my college (min. 3 courses), and therefore I will not get to uni or any apprenticeships. Meaning I have to live off the dole/my PIP money. Which for the last 15 odd years I have been working so hard to make sure nothing of the sort happens. I really felt cheated after that, and I even felt a bit sick when it happened.
