Igcse edexcel english language A

Does anyone have like a particular essay structure or template kind of thing to write question 4 and 5 for section A eg write the first paragraph like this and memorise it. I also need help on writing section B and like writing different kinds of pieces of writing such as a newspaper article or diary etc. just all sorts because I don’t know how to start them or end them or write how many paragraphs in between or what techniques I should use. I just need english help, i have good ideas but I can never express them properly so they just sound odd and confusing.

for question 4, I was told to write 3 body paragraphs answering the question in detail or more. question 5 the format im doing is a short conclusion that starts off with an obvious kind of comparison eg introspective blabla then 3 paragraphs and conclusion. But u should watch first rate tutors on YouTube that could be helpful for you.

Hi, i did my English language gcse last year and achieved a grade 8. Personally for question 5 which i believe is the creative writing peice (i did aqa correct me if i’m wrong), i would attempt 4 detailed paragraphs for 40 marks. To achieve marks you need to do 4 things. 1- use language features throughout (such as metophors, similies, oxymorons) 2- use structural features (a time shift, short sentences), 3- use a range of punctuation (.,?!”; and 4- proper use of spelling and grammar. as long as you do these 4 things the overall structure of your essay doesn’t need to be anything in particular. my best advice would be to write a story about something simple (e.g taking a dog for a walk) rather than something complex (such as a secret spy mission with a long storyline) as this will be easier to finish, explain everything you write in much detail, maybe write a whole paragraph just about the setting or just 1 character
