can i use this pen in my GCSEs?

Yesterday in biology I asked a teacher if I could use my PILOT v5 pen, it is quick-dry and ink. she said no?? someone pls tell me if i can or can't i love that pen

as long as it has black ink, and is not one of those erasable pens, you should be able to use it right? did your teacher tell you why that pen isn't allowed?

you should be allowed to i think, the only main issue is using a blue pen because in the past examiners coulnd't mark assessments, cos when it was scanned the blue didn't show up well. so yeah just consider the whole 'scanning' paper aspect, and whether your pen will show up. does it bleed through paper btw?

i’m pretty sure it needs to be a ballpoint pen

Is it a gel pen? If its a gel pen then no because sometimes when scanning the ink may get messed up

no it doesn't bleed through and it is black ink- it only bleeds if u press down for long which ofc i won't do

it just says that it is an ink pen, i'm pretty sure it isn't gel
