Dashboard lights troubleshoot

Hi,

A few days ago I noticed the dashboard lights for ABS, VSC and TRC off were illuminating on my Toyota Avensis (04).

I haven't noticed anything untoward in the driving (brakes are fine) but can anyone explain what they mean, why they might have come on and what can be done (by myself or a garage) to remedy this.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks!

Possibly as simple as blown brake lights.

Hi,

My interminable procrastination has led me to the point where I can't do my MOT until this issue is resolved. In the intervening period, thankfully, I've not had any issues other than my wheels skidding once during the recent icy weather going up hill.

A mechanic will look at the issue on Monday but can anyone advise what he should do to troubleshoot the issue?

I'm assuming brake fluid will be one and he's talked about using the computer to check it (what does that exactly involve?) And he mentioned checking other physical parts of the car.

I just want to be informed when he calls to let me know his investigation into the issue.

Thanks!
