hi my name is octopus🐙 and i am sitting my gcses atm and saw loads of people using these to motivate themselves and i just thought i'd give it a go!
my predicted grades:
english lang - 9
english lit - 8
maths - 6
pe - 8
geog - 8
science - 8-8
spanish - 9
business - L2D*
- maths... as long as i get that 6 i'll be happy🫡
- i'd love to get a 9-9 in science as i got 8-9 in a paper 2 mock (needing good paper ones🙏) and ofc i'd love a 9 in pe because it's my absolute fave subject ever so we'll see...
idk how much i'm going to update this i just need some sort of motivation&discipline

Good luckw ith your GCSEs and dont stress. I also came out of that exam feeling pretty confident but now I've had time to overthink every answer and am stressing but I think it's best to just focus on the next exam and not dwell on it because you cant change it ig xx

omd i totally get you- your predicted grades are so good btw, and the whole biology thing threw me too. because yeah i did revise most (if not almost all) the topics that came up- but i don't think the test was that easy like people are saying it was. like, i wouldn't say i'm bad at bio because i'm not- but i was just thinking to myself that if i hadn't revised those topics then i would be COOKED. because there was a lot of application of knowledge, not just flat out knowledge. so i feel like they're going to be strict with specific terms and wording so i really dk how it's gonna go. plus, i'm also like u and i've been overthinking my vocab in the bio exam and the way i explained stuff in my answers as well 😭 but all we can do is jus bang out paper 2 and keep going with all the other subjects tbh 💀 good luck for the rest of your exams i'm rooting for both of us 🫶

aqa literature p1 - OH. MY. GOD. those questions were absolutely amazing! they were both an absolute god send. lady macbeth as a strong female character and scrooges life lessons🥰 i loved them sm
tbf all the predictions were saying kingship&supernatural so they were all way off lol so idk what was going on there but aqa love to keep us guessing ig🤷only thing id say is that idk if my lady macbeth essay contradicted itself a bit but its fine we move. rating = 9/10
**ooh also let me add- that christmas carol extract was horror i think i only used like 2 quotes from the extract the whole time i almost forgot abt it it was so bad. how does that link to his lessons abt life apart from like a couple lines near the top and bottom?? anyways i also said shakespeare wrote a christmas carol a couple times so had to change that abit at the end🥲 my writing was awful at the end as well i could barely read it lol

Also I didn't write about the extract for Jekyll and Hyde so I'm probably going to get capped at half marks even though my essay was literally so good it could've been put in a museum 😭Also, I've been feeling the same about my biology. I answered every single question then afterwards I saw how many I got wrong so now I'm not so sure it was grade 9 quality 😭
