In the Bohr effect when there is a high partial pressure of CO2 the affinity for oxygen is lower right but then why does it unload oxygen when there is a higher partial pressure of co2.

More co2 = more acidic environment = tertiary structure changes —> unloads oxygen at respiring tissues

I hope that simplifies it a bit
