Nat 5 grades for medicine

Hi for my nat 5s I think I have gotten all A but for English I’m not sure because it depends on the marker.

If I get AAAAAAB can I still have a chance at getting into medschool?
Definitely! Obviously in the end it is down to how you perform in your Highers, but those are brilliant grades to get you started. Universities don't usually look at your Nat 5 grades (especially for medicine), and even if they happened to, AAAAAAB is still amazing! For people who plan to stay on at school, the main purpose of N5 is really just to determine if you're suited for Higher or not. With those grades you'll 100% be able to take Higher in the necessary subjects.

Yes, although Nat 5s are important, unis tend to look more at highers, (especially in science) but well done! Keep up the work for higher!

You only need a B at Nat 5 English to apply for medicine in Scotland but that is a minimum; many applicants will have an A. Good luck! Also, you don't need it at higher level. If you think you would struggle getting an A at higher, pick a subject you will get an A on as that is what medical schools want at Higher.
