Computer Science at uni but failing Further Maths? Am I finished?

Year 12 here,

our school made us sit these progress exams to determine our predicted grades, and I got 2 As, a C and a U (Maths, Physics, Comp Sci, Further Maths respectively).

I'm looking to apply to Uni of Bristol (other universities are either too ambitious or too far away) and I want to do the Computer Science course. Their website page says that Further Maths isn't required (it doesn't mention the subject at all) but if I were to apply with a U in Further Maths, would I be immediately rejected even if my other grades are okay?

If it isn't okay to apply with a U, is it worth dropping FM or taking an AS? Is it possible to stick with it and turn it into a B/A? I'm really only focused on getting into Uni of Bristol, I don't really care about losing the Further Maths for unis like Imperial and whatnot as long as I get into Bristol.

Thanks!

Ignoring the contextual offer, it is A*AA.

You need to meet that. It is better for you to do 3 A Levels, dropping further maths so you can focus more on the C in computer science.

I fit at least 2 of the criteria for a contextual offer, so I'm banking on the fact that I'll have to get AAB instead of A*AA. If I was going for A*AA, I would have dropped FM without question. In this scenario, is it still better to drop FM or just take an AS-Level?
