Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Congratulations on all of your offers! I can't say about the the other universities you have listed but can certainly try to get you some information on our employment options and international student community here which you'll hopefully find useful.

If by employment you mean working while at university, Aberdeen definitely has options for working in retail or food service alongside your studies, though if you are here on a student visa you will only be able to work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Here is some advice about working while studying from our Student Union: https://www.ausa.org.uk/ausaadvice/employability/workstudy/
We also have a Careers and Employability Service which is available to all current students and graduates who can provide advice on finding work and sessions like practice interviews or CV reviews to help you improve your skills: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/careers/

Quite a large portion of our student body, especially at Postgraduate, are international students which will hopefully help you in terms of settling in. There are a number of international student societies (https://www.ausa.org.uk/getinvolved/activities/) and an International Students forum (https://www.ausa.org.uk/organisation/34673/) to ensure that people from all over the world feel at home and represented here.
We also offer the opportunity to talk to some of our current staff and students through Unibuddy here which might help give you a better picture of being a student here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/study/student-life/student-chat

I hope all this was helpful! If you have any other questions about Aberdeen just let me know.
