Just had my interview and I feel like I messed up atleast one behaviour and strength each. Honestly there's no way to prep for the strengths.

Wanna share what questions came up?😭

Well done! Were the behaviour questions standard "tell me a time..." or "give me an example of..."? Asking for a friend! LOL

Haha neither! More of " how would you..". Behaviours were already mentioned on the advert

Urgh - that sounds even worse than just giving an example 😭 I suppose I’d just have to put my example into present tense rather than past

I spoke to some one else who applied for this role and they had more of "tell me a time when.." questions so its just luck of the draw.

I’ve just done mine and that is what I had - I definitely messed up the last strength question as it just threw me completely

Well done to those of you who have done it. I assumed we'd all get the same questions but maybe not? I'm really stressed about the strength questions.

I had mine yesterday. The first strength question also threw me off and my answer was messy. Also, the sudden switch of prep time from 120 secs to 60 secs was nerve wrecking for me.

I suppose they know about platforms like this where questions may be shared so I suppose it keeps it fair

Hopefully they understand how daunting those questions are and mark us nicely for them 😂

Does anybody know if the strength questions will be linked to the behaviours. Eg making effective decision strengths are analytical, decisive preventer etc.

Mine were a mix but I think there’s no pattern so everyone’s are different if that makes sense?

Thank you. Did you prepare for the strength questions, these are the ones I’m really struggling with as i have no idea what they will ask or how they will ask it and i have no idea how they would be scored either

Just did the interview. Not great. My advice is write down say 10 key strength words and weave them in. Can't prepare really.

Unfortunately it’s one of those that you just have to accept not being able to prepare for. Tbh As the whole point of them is about your natural reaction, preparing for them would probably lower your mark as the response wouldn’t be so natural. A CS interview I had a couple of months ago, I only scored 1 mark for 2 of the strength questions and the feedback was that it clearly wasn’t my natural reaction so just try to be as natural as possible about them.

Well done for getting it done. At least you can just forget about it for now

Just out of interest, had you prepared for them? I'm just wondering how they would tell if it was your natural reaction or not.
