regular update on PEC but no movement

Have you had to submit any extra evidence such as ID or had a OH check? I found that when I emailed extra ID and had had my OH check, there was a time stamp to say there was an update but no physical update which was just them uploading the evidence to my account

It will just be them uploading the documents you have sent onto your account so I wouldn’t worry about it

I think that is fine. They seem to be checking all applications under PEC at a set time every day and the system captures the audit trail (every time someone accesses the application).

Anyone here for edinburgh or glasgow?

My PEC’s were completed and the application update was ‘we are reviewing the outcomes of your pre employment checks’
Today it’s updated to ‘we’re conducting some pre employment checks’
Is this normal please?

Mine has done the same today which is annoying - none of my referees have been contacted yet which is what I had thought it might be. Have you had any update since yours changed?

Did you also receive a mail asking for new references? I had my employment history check cleared and my references were all contacted. But I recieved a mail today asking for references again (I'm assuming it's an error )

No - I haven’t received any emails just noticed that it had gone from being reviewed to they were doing checks. My references haven’t received any yet so not too sure what’s going on

I’m wondering if the change is them reviewing them and someone looking at them rather than it being in the queue to be looked as but who knows 😂

What email can I contact for updates? My PEC has been completed on csj for 2 days but I’ve not gotten any email to say it’s completed

Two days is absolutely nothing, when you take into consideration the amount of applications/transfers and PEC's they're having to go through.
I totally understand the anxiety and anticipation, but it's not like they would have forgotten about you. They too have processes they must adhere to.
Enjoy the weekend and you'll more than likely hear from them next week.

Check the guidance document on the gov site. Or in the checklist on the advert. I believe you need to show atleast either a passport/ BRP/ driving licence from group 1 and 2 other documents from group 2a or 2b (one of which can be birth certificate).

is there a checklist on the advert

I believe there is a link to check. You could just search right to work guidance civil service online and it will come up.

Good day all.

For those on training for the Tax compliance role, how is the training going? I already started work with DWP but I think HMRC has a better career pathway. Want to know how the training is going (lots of maths or the system does all the work etc) to know if I would switch. Also want to know if hybrid working is allowed. That's is my main target

I’m the exact same position as you! Started at DWP, but on reserve for HMRC - also aiming for hybrid working

That’s a crazy amount of positions! Have just had a look at the advert and anyone who currently has an offer/going through PECs, it has a much more detailed description of what training will look like if that’s helpful for anyone
