Sorry I meant that Decembers pay for us won’t be very much and that januarys will be when it will be what will be our normal monthly pay 🤣
I know they have some scheme that means you can get some of your pay earlier in the month so help you adjust. I was only asking so that I can financially prepare for when we start as I’m currently weekly pay so need to figure out how I’ll be affected by the change to monthly

@Tippytoes17 No you'll get a bumper pay packet at end of December. It'll be made up of 5 days in November plus all of December.

Thank you for the extra clarification - it’s really helpful

Is working from home included

Apologies if someone has already answered this.

Get him to check the email again as the 15th doesn’t make sense as it’s supposed to be the 25th and the 15th is also a Friday 😅 in regards to pay, it’s supposed to be £28300 for external however I heard today that the yearly rise has been decided for HMRC and just needs to be accepted by the unions for it to implemented for hopefully November so that may change before we start

cant grumble at that. is that the “inflation” pay rise? or would we be due another in “april”

Reply 1190

5.56% for people on the bottom of the pay band apparently, so we'll be on 29.9k

I guess this is the inflation pay award, don't think there would be another one in april and not sure how it would affect new joiners if there was one.

i saw its 5.45% for minimum in london

Yes, just saw that. But then someone commented 34093 as the band minimum which is what new starters get. Well anyway, guess that's still higher than advertised.

Hi, just need some support and guidance with regards to this role and the new 376R role advertised. I’m on the reserve list for the first one and haven’t been offered a place yet. I emailed recruitment as soon as the new role was advertised. Their response was that I can apply for the new role too. Since I’m on the reserve list I will be offered a role as and when it’s required.
Today, I have been informed that I don’t have to apply for the new role as I’m already in a reserve list for the previous one. Anyone in the same shoes as I am. Please let me know as I’m really confused. Thanks in advance.

IMG_5915.jpegThis was the response I got. Initially I was told to apply for new position as well. I challenged this and this was the response.

Thankyou so much . I hope they won’t change their stance and forget about us once the roles become available . Fingers crossed!

Hello , I hope you all are doing great in your new roles. Any idea when the new cohorts will start. I think one is starting in Nov. Any idea about the next cohort since many of you are now physically in the office . Thank you
