Oh no that's a shame.
I guess it's all down to managers and how they Interpret the policy.
We're told to do what makes sense for us and was even advised to factor in travel cost.
So some do a couple of weeks on and a couple weeks off (and get weekly travel cards, rather than paying daily rates)
And this is how I know it to be be across a few departments and offices.

That would be great actually. Mind letting me know what location is this? I presume it's for one of the earlier cohorts?

That makes so much sense - particularly given how costly public transport can be 😳will keep my fingers crossed my line manager is that flexible about it

yea so I buy a 2 weeks (1 week each) ticket + 2 days (1 day each).

So I buy the week either wed or thur the current week to cover the following week, then i buy the 1 day. whatever week that I went in 2 days, I buy a day ticket.

After christmas i will see if we can ask the question again.

Hey, hi! Will they be picking the remaining ppl from this reserve list first for the third cohort. And if so, when will they start the pecs. Do you have any 💡 idea as I heard it will be in the late Feb (3rd cohort).

Yes they'll use this reserve list first before they go onto the newest campaign.

As for pecs, that would most likely start them at some point in December.

@jaycee how's training been so far? How long is training and when do you go into teams? Hope all is going well and you are enjoying it

Was anyone else told they did not need to apply for the new campaign if they were already on Reserve for 362R?

A bit concerned that the list will expire if the next Cohort isn’t until March

I was told I didn’t need to apply to new campaign. Also am on reserve until July 2025 so should be fine for next cohort

Yeah the next cohort will be the remainder of this campaign who are in reserve and if needed topped up with the highest scorers of the new campaign.

Reassuring that it wasn’t just me who was told this!

Surely there would have to be some form of investigation into this should the lists expire as they’d basically have denied candidates another opportunity at employment, perhaps someone already in post could advise?

I wouldn't worry about this eventuality. It won't happen, they'll definitely go with the first campaign then when it's exhausted use the next one. The trade unions wouldn't let it happen as well, there's lots of internal candidates that this impacts. There's ample time to get an offer.

The fact they've ran a huge recruitment campaign afterwards bodes very well that you will come off the list.

Thank you for the reassurance, it’s a stressful process! There’s been zero movement since July where I am which only adds to it.

@Jaycee_88 ah sounds good. Do you know how long the training is on for and how many on a team? Will your team/manager be in same office or managed remotely

Yes I was told that I donot need to apply for the new campaign . The donot was in bold letters. Unless the offer letter comes in, it’s a strange feeling.
