Jaycee, can you please let me know on which days the sessions/ case studies end by 3 pm ? I have the school run on my WFH days so trying to see how best to fit them in.

There is no way they would know this. They've started already, so therefore has a different timetable to what you would get.

Whilst I understand you're trying to prepare yourself, you just have to wait until you are given your timetable. Said timetable may not even be finalised yet.
You're line manager will call you some days or weeks leading to your start day, if you ask, they may be able to tell you what days in the first two weeks, you're required to be in the office.

Have You looked into after school club?

Thanks. I assumed the timetable would be more or less similar to the last cohort. I have care sorted for the first two weeks. Yes, I have looked into after school clubs and unfortunately they aren't available for my youngest in nursery so I'm still trying to work out something.

Got a mail from HMRC with some documents to read and some to fill and send back.
I would have completed missed it as it went to my junk folder.
Has anyone resuming on the 25th received their contract/letter of appointment yet??

Recieved my contract today. But there is no document to fill and send back. Just need to send an acceptance email as mentioned in the contract.

I have applied for the 376R campaign and completed interview mid October.

Does anyone know if everyone starts at the same time? Or differentcohorts start at different times?

If I was to get accepted is it a bad look on me to request to start at alater date.

I have an operation next year and it would take few months to full recovery.Would they be understanding to me? I would appreciate anyone’sinput. Thanks in advance

there will likely be multiple start dates due to the size of the campaign. there has been 3 cohorts for the 362R campaign and that was with half the amount of jobs available.

as for starting later on, i dont think this would be an issue per se as during the pre employment checks i read somewhere that if pecs weren’t completed in time id be able to join the next cohort. id just make it clear as early as possible that you dont think youd be able to make it.

however, one of the pre employment checks asks whether you’d need any reasonable adjustments. so they may be able to make amends for you to be able to start in the earlier cohort, so that may be something to bear in mind

Just a quick question for anybody who would be in the know, I am an elected representative on my local Council, would there be any issues with me continuing in this role within HMRC?

I currently work in the Northern Ireland Civil Service as an AO and I’m able to work both jobs provided I adhere to the Civil Service code in terms of impartiality etc

nothing different, just that you are home. But of course when you are doing tutor led, you may need 2 screens so you can follow along.
So as soon as you start, it is black Friday week, I suggest speaking with your manager asap and ordering the items. You can order screen, desk and chair by yourself. If you spend more than £300 (£100 each), you only get that 300 back, if you spent less, you get back what you paid.

Can we order them before our first day at work? I'm yet to speak to my manager though.

Hello, does anyone know what the pay award % increase was for the role? The advert was £28,341 but my contract has another salary which seems lower than expected given the pay increase. Thanks

I guess for some that just got the contract this week, the new pay award has been effected. Now about 29400 or so.
