Hello, is anyone waiting to hear from the vacancy holder to provide the documents required. I got the email on 19th Dec but no one contacted me despite sending an email to them. Is it due to holidays and the staff coming back maybe today from holidays. Seems tiring to open the emails after every two hours…. Has someone experienced the same please?

Have you check the civil service jobs account? There could be a link there to click to upload documents

does anyone know when the edinburgh march start date is? i was told mid march ish when i delayed my start from the november start date but haven’t heard anything further when i’ve enquired, and my notice period has increased since i applied so i need more advance notice. have asked multiple times but heard nothing yet

I’m in the same boat as you, delayed start date till march, however I asked multiple times too and still no further forward. If you have told them your notice period has increased then they will be aware of this and will tell you when you can put your notice in. Don’t worry, CS moves at a snails pace!

From the previous set, does anyone know how feasible it is to change office location (from one city to another city) and will there be any issue if the change is made before initial resumption.

Hello, just a qq for those whose PECS are completed.
For the bank statement, did you get it stamped as hsbc and Barclays don’t stamp and sign the statements.
Secondly, is it okay to take pictures of bank statement and use iScanner to scan them and then upload.
If someone has used their P60, ( they say, it has to do be original) mine didn’t come in post but I downloaded it. Can I use that too as an additional document. Thanks

When I had my PECs, I had to get the bank statement stamped, they would not accept it without it being stamped or signed.

Hsbc stamps their account statement, just explain the reason why you need it stamped.

P.S I have used a stamped hsbc bank statement for a job before

I didn’t in September but there was a timestamp of my application under the recent updates on the application section saying there had been an update but I couldn’t physically see an update. It’s worth checking that to see if that has happened since you submitted them

Quick question, HMRC just released a new vacancy for the Compliance Caseworker role but the salaries have been increased. The advertised salary from my accepted application is lower than the new higher salary. Before we formally accept contracts do we get the new higher salary package or the lower one? I am so confused now how does it work? I am on the PEC part of the process. Thanks in Advance?

It will be newly advertised salary. There has been a CS pay increase since last recruitment campaign.
