is there a point in doing as papers for aqa a level physics paper 1?

so i was just asking if there was any need in me doing as papers for aqa a level physics paper 1 as practice. i know some content is cut off in AS and those papers will include practical skills since there isnt a paper 3 so was just asking would i be fine just doing the a level papers only and if i got some extra time then do AS?
i wouldn't bother with the as stuff. the questions are slightly more complex (apparently) on the actual a-level papers. there are mock papers online and challenge that you can find if you run out of things to do. just my opinion though, do them if you feel like that would be best for your revision

they will only help you with paper 1 and practical skills, if those are areas you need to focus on then go for it

so my aqa a level physics paper 1 exam in next friday and I feel like i dont have enough time to do all the AS and Alevel papers. But i do have enough time to complete all the A level papers. Considering I need a D/E grade to get into my apprenticeship, will doing just the A level papers suffice?

i think just the a level papers should be fine tbh. how many have you done so far? i think once you have cleared a few its best to focus on weak areas from the papers you have already done, as a last minute thing. physicsandmathstutor.com is best for that, it has questions by topic. i wouldn't spend all of your time on paper 1 though, the others are sooner than you think and doing all the as papers might not be the best use of time (unless you are still really struggling with paper 1 and really want some extra practice). make sure when you mark your papers, you spend a long time reacting to the mark scheme, because that time is just as valuable as doing the paper itself.
