Biology at Leeds or Exeter

Hi, I have got an offer for both Leeds and Exeter unis and am struggling to decide between them. The course for both are great so no issues with that, its more the city and campus.

I liked Exeter's campus better with the newer buildings and greener space but I am worried about the lack of things to do in Exeter in terms of general activities like sports and night life as well as how far away it is from everywhere else. I am, like everyone else also worried about the stereotype of only 'posh' people going and although I know its not only posh people, I am not sure I would fit in as well. I love sports but am more into football and tennis etc; than rugby and hockey and I know it isn't a great city for my sports compared to Leeds. I preferred the city of Leeds more, and the accommodation and student union looked nice, but I heard complaints about the teaching. I was also not sure about the campus as the buildings looked quite old and it was all quite close together.

My course at Exeter also has a study abroad year with it which I definitely want to do but I don't have one for Leeds and was wondering if anyone at Leeds knew about how easy it was to go on one.

Any advice and help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Although Exeter isn’t as big as Leeds you can still have alot of fun on a night out. When the weather is goodeveryone goes to beach or the quay. The sports societiesare extremely popular, if you’re sporty it’s definitely goodfor you. And while the posh stereotype is true to someextent, you can avoid them and I think Leeds is probablyjust as bad when it comes to the amount of privatelyeducated students.
