Okay so, not sure if anyone will see this but now a week on from my last post about responses from LIPA as to the BA Acting (musical theatre) course (auditioned January 12th) and I still haven’t had a response. I’m getting really nervous.

I really want a place, and I feel pretty confident the panel liked me at my recall, but I’m terrified my dance will let me down as I’m not a dancer by any stretch.
Can anyone offer some advice or reassurance? I’m terrified now and really need some words of encouragement

hi! I believe LIPA operates on a system of sending out their first set of offers, then waiting to see what the responses are to send out the next offers to the 'waiting list'. I auditioned on the 16th February for the actor musician course and heard back about 4 weeks later when they'd finished all auditions for the course (as far as I'm aware). maybe since MT is a more popular course they have more auditions? if you are concerned, I'd reccomend calling the university, I called at one point as I wanted to find out how much longer it would take to get back to me and the staff were understanding and easy to talk to; they could maybe let you know if auditions are over/if they're still waiting for a panel decision. it could give some answers!! I hope you hear back soon though :smile:

Hi there, if its any consolation my daughter still hasnt heard anything from LIPA - her audition was 10 Jan. So 18 weeks ago. Similar to you. Would you consider giving them a call?
