PFF2 Section 6 Q2

My brother is also going to be in higher education next academic year but I am unsure whether to tick yes or no for the question: "Do you want to support this student’s application for student finance?", because my mom (who I'm filling out this form on behalf of) is already supporting his application, as he's been at uni for the past few years and their student finance accounts have been linked together since the start. I just wanna make sure that ticking yes won't actually affect my brother's student finance in any way. I'm obviously worried about ticking no incase their accounts become unlinked and my mom is no longer supporting his application, which is why I'm unsure what to do here.
Apologies if I've worded this is a very confusing way, I can try to reword this if need be.
