Rejected from medical schools... Clearing help?

Can someone please guide me through clearing? I'm basically planning on taking a gap year next year as I haven't gotten any medicine offers. I know that clearing with medicine is very unlikely however I'd like to take my chances. I have two offers for non-med, like biomed but I'm not taking those.

I was just wondering if I have to reject those offers to go into clearing or leave them, I'm just not sure.
Also, for clearing, am I only able to call the universities that I've applied to in the first place and received rejections from- or can I call up other universities?

Last question, is on student finance and gap year scholarships. I don't really know how gap year scholarships work but I've been planning on doing some research. I'm just not sure if I should apply now or after clearing... Same with student finance. Any help is appreciated.
