How to choose the right unis to apply (Textile Design)

As per usual, I can only apply to five through UCAS and am overwhelmed by the amount of great universities that offer BA Textile Design courses, with each having a variety of placement/industry opportunities that seem to be great for building a future in the textile industry. I’m stumped as to which five unis I should choose as I feel that all of them would be enjoyable and good for the course, and I have been planning some open days, but obviously I am not able attend all of the open days for the unis.

Does anyone have any tips for deciding on which unis to apply to?

Look at grades needed, portfolio, interview, etc. Consider accommodation prices, and area they are in. How are the classes delivered? Do you want to live near or far from home? How accessible are the unis from your home? You can also talk to some current students to get their perspective on studying Textiles there.
