You don’t necessarily need work experience for medicine or biomedical science. You just need a curiosity and some super curricular to prove you have done some learning outside of school.

I would recommend checking out the website Springpod for some biomedical science virtual work experience from unis which you can do in your own time. Or you can contact local labs/unis

Ask your school whether they subscribe to the A Level review magazines. Or read New scientist, listen to biomedical related podcasts, etc.
