GCSE English literature - question difficulty

How did everyone find paper 1 today?
I was wondering after the exam how it is fair that some of the texts that you could choose to study seemed to get much easier questions than others, for example I’ve heard loads of people saying that the Macbeth question was easy, but the Romeo and Juliet question was a lot harder. If one question is easier than the others, then how can the grade boundaries be fair? Just curious

i don't know about grade boundaries but i did jane eyre + macbeth and i was so upset because the jane eyre question wasn't that hard but harder than the macbeth question so i did it first and ran out of time then somehow wrote a thesis statement, conclusion and 3 big paragraphs for macbeth with 16 minutes left but macbeth was such a good question i really feel i could've wrote some top grade analysis for it. oh well it's over now i have to worry about what poem is going to come up for love and relationships and the questions for an inspector calls 😭
