Clarence Dock Village (Liberty Dock) opinions?

I've seen so many mixed reviews on it, distance seems to be an issue for a lot of people but fortunately I'm at Leeds Conservatoire in September so this isn't a problem. I've seen a lot of mention of silverfish being in the rooms, poor storage space, bad maintenance, leaks, muggings, etc. It seemed ideal initially and is much cheaper than the accommodation near my uni campus so it would be beneficial to hear anyone's opinions or experience, thanks!

bro me too i’ve seen more bad reviews than good, and my uni is opening a new campus in the city centre so CDV is the only option i have that they’re giving out (will have to commute to main campus in horsforth for a month ish bc city campus isn’t ready) and it’s kind of discouraging me, idk if i should look for a different accommodation in the city centre or which one to even pick

did you end up sticking with Clarence dock village? I have seen a lot of bad things but im going to give it a try and if I really hate it im going to try find a tenant takeover, I move in on the 14th
