How many marks with little detailed analysis
I did Lit paper 1 today and it went fine. I wrote a lot about context, about what happened in the play, reader response, I had a lot of quotes, I did everything that makes a good answer. Except for detailed analysis. I did say what the quotes meant and how it helps the message, but is it likely I will get high marks if I didn’t zoom in on lots of particular words. I zoomed in on one word and thought about what it means and I questioned writers intentions and meaning, but is that enough?
