Asking a McDonald's crew member out...

I really like this woman who works at a McDonald's restaurant. But I am not sure if it's okay to ask a staff member out. It is unprofessional? I don't know how else to find her off of work and express my feelings to her. She's really cute and I really want her to know that I like her. What should I do?

Ask her whether she would like to go out for a meal, at McDonalds maybe (I joke) maybe somewhere like pub on nice day sit outside ?

It makes me really nervous as there's always other people around and I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. I just want to know is that a normal thing to do when someone is actually on a shift?

It not great form to ask someone out when they are working. It’s not a dating context, it’s presumptuous and quite likely a commonplace embarrassment for attractive girls in retail. I would a least try a bit of mild flirting first to see if there’s any encouragement

You only need to look up all the McDonalds scandals online to see what actually goes on, but that doesnt make it right and is a lot worse. I would think it would be ok to casually steer the conversation towards asking, like "hope youre doing something nice this weekend etc" and then see what she says. She may take that as an opening.

I see your point. I was exactly afraid of that. But I think I could start with the beginner steps. Thanks mate, that really helps.

I didn't know that was a thing but I could understand that. That's actually very helpful I should try that and hope to see some feedback. Thanks a lot people! 🙏

Yeah just start with some regular convo first like "How are you today" see how she reacts or if she even remembers who you are. Remember they have to be nice to you it's part of the job so unless she makes it really obvious she likes you I wouldn't try and take it further, maybe ask for her Insta and continue the convo there. Oh also be prepared to never go back to that McDonalds if she rejects you...

I see your point. Yeah that's another thing about never going to that store again! Kinda scary for a small city 🥺
