applying late, what unis are realistic?

I'm applying late to uni and I was wondering what universities are realistic to apply to? I know that I will not be prioritised since my application is late so I'd assume the majority if not all places in better universities are taken, but I'm really not sure. What sort of universities generally still have free places at this point? Sorry if this is a silly question!

You can use https://digital.ucas.com/coursedisplay/results/courses?studyYear=2024&destination=Undergraduate&vacancy=eng&postcodeDistanceSystem=imperial&pageNumber=1&sort=MostRelevant&clearingPreference=None
Enter the course your interested in, and it will show universities with vacancies for that course.

Hi,

This is not a silly question at all

Although you have missed the UCAS equal consideration deadline you can still apply to start this September. Of course it will be dependent on the course you want to study, where you want to live and so on. Do you know which course you want to study? Do you want to live at home and commute to uni or do you want to move out and try somewhere new?

The good news is the deadline for current applicants to respond to offers is 6 June, so this means a lot of uni places will become available as applicants choose their firm choice meaning you still have a good chance of getting in🙂 You can apply through UCAS extra at the moment, or you can apply through Clearing from 5 July.

I hope this helps
