gyg- my gcses

I'm currently studying GCSEs:
maths (higher edexcel igcse), further maths (aqa), english lit + lang (edexcel igcse)(my texts are: omam, macbeth and inspector calls), bio + chem + physics (separates AQA higher), latin (ocr)(my exams are: language, lit 1 (pythius/sagae), lit 2(virgil's Aeneid book 6)), rs (ocr) and history (aqa)(my history units are: germany, cold war, power and the people and restoration england)
good luck to everyone else in their gcses!! :smile:
my alevel choices are: biology, chemistry, maths and latin

Hey, that's great keep it up, its sooo cool to see you doing so much, I get distracted so easily and ltrly don't know what to do, i get bored of studying really quickly and its a massive problem, especially now during GCSEs, any tips?

i used to use flora but i've sort of stopped that now because i just do revision as and when i'm able to!! but it is really useful as it tells you how much you have done overall!!
also if you put your phone in another room it is really helpful as once you get going you don't want to be distracted!
i also found that sometimes not charging my phone overnight and then plugging it in somewhere else while i studied meant i didn't use it as much! especially if you can avoid touching your phone in the morning, until after you tick off some revision, then you can focus more because your brain won't be constantly getting distracted thinking about other things!

good luck! i think you can definitely score really highly without revising, particularly if you have some knowledge of the vocab beforehand. I would say, if you want to do any, focus on vocab because you can kind of 'guess' the other grammar points in sentences so long as you have an idea of what they are trying to say! best of luck i'm sure you will do great

update: had history paper 1 today which went SO much better than expected!
now its just cramming non stop this afternoon for maths AND rs paper 2 tomorrow🙁

just realised i haven't updated this in a while.. the first week of gcses is over!! hooray !! it went sm faster than i was expecting
yesterday was my double day with maths and rs paper 2, and both went well! :smile:
chemistry paper 1 this morning was also good
english lit paper 2 on monday (macbeth and inspector calls) as well as latin lit 1 and physics paper 1 shortly after

its sunday!! english lit paper 2 tomorrow, can't wait to be done with english literature!
today will be pretty busy, but i will update on here what I get done to keep me focused! starting at 8am ish

haven't updated this for agesss (including the day I said i would put what I did 🙃)
Had english lit yesterday and have latin (paper 2 out of 3) and physics (paper 1 out of 2) tomorrow, but no exams today so i'm just focusing on physics and latin
english language paper 1 (of 2) on thursday! hope everyone else's exams are going well
