University of West England (Bristol) or Uni of Sussex for Engineering

Hey,

I'm torn between University of West England in Bristol and University of Sussex for engineering.
Seeking advice on:

1. Social Scene: Which university offers a better social scene for someone from Birmingham and london?

2. ASC and Students Union: Which university has a more active ACS and Students Union?

3. Prestige and Employer Perception:Is there a noticeable difference in prestige for engineering degrees between the two? How do employers view them?

4. Reputation in Engineering: Which university has a stronger reputation in the engineering field?

Any insights or experiences would be appreciated!

This doesn't answer your question and I apologise but I'm also tied between Bristol and Sussex however I chose sussex as firm and Bristol as second if anything 😭

Sussex - in every respect.

Great smaller campus Uni with a lovely village atmosphere, and Brighton is by the sea, a tourist city, and great for music/entertainment - and its 50 mins by train to central London.

UWE is a concrete mess, on a disconnected campus in a distant suburb of Bristol. Student accommodation in Bristol is ludicrously expensive and affordable stuff is in very short supply. Transport in Bristol is a nightmare.
