Gcse invigilators 🤔

is it just me or like, did anyone else think that the invigilators for GCSE were gonna be people like in suits and very smart formal professional people? because our school certainly do not have that they just got normal people pulling up in like joggers or jeans and stuff😭😭😭😭

nah fr, we had one guy in a suit but the rest were just people whove been coming since the first mocks

Same, we had the same people as in our mocks, the 'head' invigilator (the one who writes the times and dismisses us at the end) is actually the mum of a girl in our year, rest of them honestly seem retired with nothing better to do, one of them apparently works at Jorvick Viking centre lol

They're always just normal people. They aren't some kind of investigators sent by the exam board, they're just randoms who signed up to sit around for a couple hours and get paid a bit of money for doing so usually.
