Hi @karen_silva1801
I would suggest having a look at the universities website to see if they have any information about accommodation they offer/recommend. It is always worthwhile when looking at accommodation to view it on map such as google maps which can also then calculate your commute. In terms of food and prices you can often search for living cost comparisons online so you can compare your typical shop and spending to what you would be in the local currency.
As you are going on exchange it might be an option to ask your university if any students have been before and what their experience was like and/or if they suggest any contacts

Hopefully someone with a bit more insight to the specific uni you are going to will be able to assist with more details. Enjoy your exchange!

Hi there,

From a quick search, I have found some information on the accommodation and food options. I'd recommend having a look through these webpages to see if it provides you with the information you need.

I'd ask your university if anyone else is going/has been to that university, and ask what their experience is like. As it has been said, looking at maps would be a good idea to get a feel for commutes. Looking at supermarkets, commutes, and the cost of living might help you to get a better idea for the costs.

Going on an exchange is a great experience. I have just come to the end of my exchange in the US, and it has been incredible. Have a wonderful time!
