Body shaming

I couldn’t stop thinking about as to why it’s seen as ok to height shame people for being too short/ tall however it’s seen as unacceptable to say anything about someone’s weight? I really don’t see the difference between weight and height and in fact weight is something you (in most cases) can control. Of course weight shaming is unacceptable but height shaming should be too? I don’t see why it’s more accepted to shame someone for something they can’t control at all. Any thoughts?

Simply because there have been huge anti weight shaming campaigns, but no anti height shaming campaigns other than "short king"

I guess so. I’m not actually sure if “short king” and “tall queen” actually makes short men and tall women feel better about their height though.

Me personally I’m short aswel and do get made fun of occasionally but I don’t take it to heart as it’s something I can’t control I tend to ignore what’s said to me and just carry on living life at the fullest like I said before it’s not something u can control so why should you feel ashamed or embarrassed of who you are.
