Politically neutral - every UK university as an institution will be politically neutral. Most student politics is left leaning and some unis go more to the left than others.

Attainable acceptance rate - this depends on what your grades are?

What's a GI bill? I've never heard that phrase before?

Student life: clubs, formals - Clubs = almost every uni; formals = only a small handful really do regular formals, but these are likely to be the same as the old campuses you desire so there's overlap there

Diverse group of people - Every UK university, but some more than others. Larger unis = naturally more diverse.
