2022 essays were about Alexander II/emancipation, Nicholas II/opposition groups and Stalin/Khrushchev comparison, maybe could be something about Alexander III or Lenin/Stalin comparison? not a clue tbh

Definitely something on Alexander III as he hasn't been on the paper in a while and something to do with the 1917 revolution and bolshevik rise to power?

I'm not sure but I have a feeling one of the essays may be on the economy around 1894-1917 as this hasn't been asked in agesss and the economy wasn't asked last year at all. I hope its Alexander 3 for extracts or economy for extracts. I wouldn't hate a lenin/stalin comparison but tbh im so unprepared for the exam, anything is gross

Do you think they'd do similar questions to the 2020 paper as it was never sat, obvs not the exact same since the mark schemes have been posted but similar eras possibly?

For extracts it was Nicholas II and reasons for abdication, and the essay choices was opposition under high Stalinism/Khrushchev, agricultural policies under Lenin/stalin and something about A2 reforms I think

Something about the significance of the various revolutions i.e. Feb and October in the rise of the Bolsheviks. Or maybe how Nicholas’ failures led to the success of Bolshevik ideology ??? I’m not sure I’m just making stuff up lol.

In terms of the key questions opposition or ideology are the main ones. I'm thinking for opposition it'd ask whether radical/liberal opposition was the biggest factor in causing the Bolshevik rise to power, and for ideology it'd be whether socialist/Marxist principles were the biggest factor
