i used chat gpt for 70% of my coursework, will they find out?

basically i changed most of the wording and reworded it to sound like me (kinda) and i pu it through a plaigirism detector t find the correct references and put them down and i also put quotation marks around the paragraphs whic i did used chat gpt for? will i get marked down? im scared pls let me know

You are supposed to declare when you have used AI in your coursework. I don't know if you'll get caught, but examiners will quite possibly be able to tell whether you have used AI or plagiarised, so I wouldn't be surprised if you do get caught.

Colleges are increasingly using AI checking as part of their plagiarism process, so the honest answer is maybe.

Bear in mind that your teachers and coursework examiners are also well used to people getting their thesaurus out in an effort to hide their sources.

the thing is i just used it for my gcse coursework and i got nearly full marks on it by my teacher im just scared if the exam board actually scrutinise my coursework theyll find out

Make sense for spag although 70% is quite high and I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t get baited out why didn’t you use various sources for your coursework why ChatGPT??

hopefully if you reworded it it wouldn't get detected, but a girl in my music class used AI for all of her lyrics (In her song composition) and she had to basically delete the whole thing and do it again, but that was before she handed it in- but then again she didn't really change anything, maybe talk to ur teacher if they're calm?

You must sign a form stating you have not used AI. There is a decently high chance >50% that they will find out. IF you signed that form saying you didn't use it you will get into a lot of trouble and possibly fail. Or, if you did say you used it, it might not get as many marks as you would've hoped for.
