Oxford DPhil in Cancer Science application

Hi, anyone heard anything back from the DPhil in Cancer Science course at Oxford with April deadline? For those of people who have received interviews before, how long did it take to receive the shortlisted email after submitting the application? Many thanks :smile:

I was interviewed on the 16th May (got the invite on the 7th) and on the 21st I got the offer.

Is this the place at the Rosalind insitute? If so I know a friend who has been accepted, I’ve also been accepted to a position on the cardiovascular sciences DPhil a while ago

Oooh congratulations! Figure I may have been put on an unofficial waitlist/rejected in that case.. Applied for the same stream and did not get an interview, but looking at last year they may reopen later and consider existing applications for that round too. Finding a PhD is tough out there 😂

got an offer and gonna refuse it bc ive accepted one from cambridge that I like better, I hope they give it to YOU specifically

Hahah thank you! But unfortunately I was rejected today, like I expected. It's all okay though! I'm currently at Oxford for my master's and sometimes it just isn't meant to be!
Congratulations still on getting your offer though, that's a massive achievement either way! I was in your situation last year and chose Oxford over Cambridge after getting offers from both. I really hope it's everything you wished for and that you will have a great time!
